Students learn by doing, but also by reflecting on what they have done and identifying ways to improve.

DAILY LIFE
What is the “Be Hour”?
The “Be Hour” is a daily session dedicated to students, designed to provide a transformative experience that promotes mindful and reflective learning.
Grounded in scientifically validated methods and the development of essential 21st-century skills, the “Be Hour” guides students to reflect on their learning processes, enhancing their ability to solve problems, work collaboratively, and make informed decisions.

During the “Be Hour”, students are guided to:
- Understand how they learn and adjust strategies to improve their performance.
- Evaluate their progress and set clear, achievable goals.
- Apply their learning in diverse contexts, both within and beyond the classroom.

LEARNING
Our Approach to Learning in the “Be Hour”
The “Be Hour” is founded on 3 key pillars:
The Transformative Hour
More than just a lesson, the “Be Hour” is an opportunity for every student to understand themselves better, develop essential skills, and discover the joy of learning. By combining metacognition, emotional intelligence, financial and digital literacy, we offer a comprehensive programme to prepare students for success both in school and in life.
Because learning to think about how we learn is the key to growth.
At Beyond , specialist teachers and support staff forge strong relationships with our students. They help them to navigate their emotions, encourage positive interactions, and provide lots of opportunities to socialise. They also build trust and mutual respect, take the time to get to know unique personalities, and identify areas for development.
